A Note From Our Principal

Dear AmPark Community,

As the principal of AmPark Neighborhood School, I’m proud to represent nearly 20 years of educational excellence and community collaboration. Nestled in the Amalgamated Park Reservoir Cooperative Housing community, our PreK-5 school serves around 300 students and thrives on active family and community involvement through events like the March of Dimes Wonderwalk, AmPark Olympics, Festival of Lights, and Spring Concert.

Our inclusive classrooms encourage collaboration and hands-on learning through the HMH and Eureka^2 ELA and Math curriculums, complemented by engaging projects such as bird studies and trout releases. We focus on experiential education by integrating Music, Wellness, and Arts, supported by local partnerships and a well-equipped music studio. Our Amplify Science curriculum also benefits from interactive learning and community support, enriching our students' experiences.

At AmPark, our dedicated teachers use diverse approaches to address individual needs and interests, continuously assessing and reflecting to support each child's growth. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and inspiring learning environment for every student.

Sincerely,

Meena Lildharrie, Principal
